Based on innovation
The idea behind Xylophane originates from research at Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden. The company was founded in 2004 by the Paul Gatenholm, Professor in Biopolymer Technology, Maria Gröndahl, Ph.D. in Material Science, and Lisa Bindgård, M.Sc. in Engineering Biology.
The company is financed by venture capital and the main owners are SEB Venture Capital, Capricorn Venture Partners and KTH Chalmers Capital.
